“There’s a reason microneedling is having a moment”
The collagen conversation, real skin results & why beautiful skin is always worth investing in.
From skincare enthusiasts to beauty insiders, everyone seems to be talking about this collagen-boosting treatment. But beyond the buzz, what makes microneedling so special? Perhaps it’s the shift towards looking after our skin rather than changing how we look.
A little less “perfection”, a little more skin confidence.
Working with your skin’s natural renewal process, this clever treatment helps improve texture, soften the appearance of fine lines and support a smoother, firmer, more radiant complexion over time.
Think of it as an Investment in your Skin’s Future, “Collagen Banking”.
Collagen is what gives our skin that lovely firmness, bounce and youthful plumpness. But as we get older, our natural collagen production gradually slows, and we begin to notice those little changes, fine lines become more visible, texture feels a little less smooth, and that fresh-faced glow isn’t always quite so effortless.
Microneedling creates tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin, encourages its natural repair response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
The beauty of it? We’re working with your skin, not against it. Not only an instant glow, it’s about gradual, meaningful improvement.
The Results That Keep My Clients Coming Back
This is the part I love talking about. Over the years, I’ve seen just how much difference the right skin treatments can make. From improving the appearance of acne scarring and uneven texture to softening fine lines and bringing back that healthy-looking glow.
It’s when a client tells me her makeup is sitting beautifully again. When someone who’s struggled with their skin for years begins to feel more comfortable without foundation. Or when we look back at photographs from their very first appointment and realise just how far we’ve come.
But here’s the thing. It’s rarely just one appointment that makes the difference.
The Secret? Consistency
Something I always explain to my clients is that collagen takes time to develop. We might notice early improvements in how the skin looks and feels, but the deeper changes we’re working towards happen gradually over the following weeks and months. That’s why I often recommend a course of microneedling treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on the skin we’re working with.
And mostly we don’t start with microneedling at all.
We might begin with a gentle facial, work on hydration or spend some time supporting the skin barrier before introducing more advanced treatments. Because knowing when to do less is just as important as knowing when to do more.
It’s Not Just What Happens on My Treatment Bed
If you’ve ever been to see me at bare. Beauty, you’ll know I love talking about skincare, and I don’t just mean which facial we’re doing next. We’ll talk about your home routine, the products you’re using, your lifestyle, how you’re sleeping and all those little everyday habits that can influence how your skin looks and feels. Sometimes it’s introducing a new serum or making sure you’re wearing your SPF every day. Sometimes it’s simplifying a routine that’s become far too complicated.
Your Skin. My Passion. Our Journey.
I want you to feel confident in your skin, but I also want you to enjoy the process of getting there.
I’ll always be honest about what I think your skin needs, even if that means starting with something simpler or taking things a little slower. No pressure. No unnecessary treatments. Just years of experience, a genuine love for what I do and a personalised approach to helping you feel wonderful in your own skin.
