Million Dollar Dermaplaning
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using sterile surgical scalpel to gently exfoliate the surface skin. The process removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, “peach fuzz” from the face. By removing the top layer of skin, dermaplaning stimulates cell regeneration and improves skin texture, over time regular dermaplaning can reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and uneven skin tone.
Who will benefit?
Suitable for a wide range of clients, including those looking for a radiate glow, concerns with fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring or uneven skin tones. Skincare products such as serums and moisturisers penetrate more effectively after the treatment. Make up enthusiasts will benefit from smooth application of product for a flawless finish.
You should avoid this treatment if you have active acne or rosacea, skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis.
What happens during the treatment?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oil and debris. Using an pro cleanse lotion to ensure your skin is squeaky clean.
A light application of balm will be applied to allow a smooth glide over the skin. Using a sterile, surgical grade scalpel, to gently scrap across the skin in short controlled strokes. The process takes about 20—30 mins. After the procedure, a soothing mask is applied to nourish the skin. Finished with serums and hydrating moisturising, your skin is protected with Shield 50+.
